Freddie Roach says Pacquiao, Marquez’s bout to end in knockout

According to Freddie Roach, the upcoming fight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will end in a knockout.

Roach, a World Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee, is pushing the Pound-for-Pound King to knockout Marquez on their third bout this coming November 12 once and for all. Still, Marquez also has his own plan since he also wants to knockout the defending champion.

Marquez made comments to ESTO, a Spanish newspaper, with regard to their upcoming fight in November saying that it is either he knock Pacquiao or he will be get knocked out. In addition, the greater part of critics and boxing aficionados believe that the defending champion will easily win the third bout with Marquez.

Also, the betting odds have already claimed that Pacquiao got an 8-to-1 favorite. In spite of the overpowering outlook that the Pound-for-Pound King will win the fight, Pacquiao has kept that Marquez is a difficult contender and will not be overconfident even with the results of statistics.

This bout will surely be more interesting than the last three fights of Pacquiao where his contenders were beleaguered and put on some of the poorer performances of their careers. In March 2010, Joshua Clottey covered up his face on the whole fight, while Antonio Margarito had no answer with the attack of Pacquiao in November 2010. In last May, Shane Mosley ran away for nine rounds.

Marquez is decided to come in there and fight Pacquiao for the third time and is not frightened to his power. He fought Pacquiao way back in 2004 to a draw and in 2008 when Marquez lost by split decision. Both fights finished with controversy.
