In the new book of Dyan Cannon entitled “Dear Cary: My Life with Cary Grant” she recounts her life with his former husband. Their relationship was like a fairy tale from the starts but unfortunately, both end up in separate ways.  The age difference of the couple is about 30 years but they manage to have a magical courtship in 1960s. After three years of being married, the couple had a divorce. Following their divorce, Cannon experience nervous breakdown.

A journalist from Reuters talks about the book that she had written and the things she learned when she was still with her husband Cannon. Cannon writes the book to inspire other people. She wanted to impart the things that she had learned while they are still together. She also wants to tell others that loving is wonderful. The feeling of giving and trying to make other happy is awesome, she added.

In writing the book about her former husband, she admits that it was challenging. Her partner was a famous celebrity, a lot of people are idolizing him, and she does not want to change the image of her husband to his supporters. Cannon want readers to love Grant more after reading the book that she wrote. It is fact that they marriage do not end up well but Cannon Admit that they share a lot of happy times when they are still together.

Actually, Cannon have a hard time in sorting out stories to include in the story. She even states that the first draft of the book was not well balance. The second draft that she wrote is quite better and the third is already the final. When talking about LSD utilization, she admits that Grant is using it right for he believes that it is his way to God and inner peace. Cannon states that LSD does not fit her well.

When ask about succeeding relationship after their divorce, Cannon simply state that they are polite. After asking about career upon ending up their marriage, Cannon states that friends of her former husband namely Mike Frankovich who happens to be the head of Columbia Pictures gave her a chance to go back in cinemas so it is not hard for her to go back in Hollywood.

Cannon admit that she mourned so much following the demise of her former husband. She confesses that she loves him and she felt that something was loss from her when Grant passes away. Cannon acknowledge that at present, Grant was the greatest love that came in her life. According to her, she had already encountered a lot of jerks and wonderful men but nothing compares to Grant up to present. She feels great that she is the only woman whom Grant thrust to have a baby and that is something good to ponder.

Cannon divulge that she observes something common in his daughter Jennifer together with her grandson little Cary. When ask about another book, Cannon states that she was not yet motivated to write another but she is not saying no for another book. At present, she wants to perform in shows as a woman with other individuals.
