After the performance of Miami Heat in the Finals last season, you may already expect that Miami Heat will not a strong favorite anymore to be one of the contenders for the title the next season. However, there are things that you still need to pay attention since they are very important.
You have to consider that the team still has the big three: LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. They had a hard time dealing with the Dallas Mavericks last season but some analysts stated that they are still coping with each other. They said that the three, especially James, still did not know where he must position on the team.
A couple of times, you saw LeBron James passed the ball when he was about to shoot and there are a lot of times that he is hesitating. Sports analysts had a good feeling that the next season will be for the Miami Heat. As of now, the fact is that there is no team that is currently playing in NBA that can match up the Big Three of Miami Heat.
If you will look at their standing on the regular season, they won 58 out of 82 games. Analysts stated that is a good statistics for a team. It is also the reason why they reached the finals in the Eastern Conference Playoffs by only losing three times from three separate teams. It means that every team that they fought in the Eastern Conference Playoffs only won a single time to them. This is one of the things that you must look because they are considered as one of the unbeatable teams on the NBA last season.
Also, you can check the finals battle with Dallas Mavericks. The team was too talented that they were turned up with the defense of Dallas Mavericks. It is a big loss for the team and also to the people who are expecting that they can show more aside from the performance that they showed during their game with Dallas Mavericks.
However, even if they lose a single year, it does not mean that they are not strong enough to enter the finals again. Like what is said earlier, they have all the power and talent that they need to get to top and obtain the title multiple times.
Analysts stated that what they did was already good for a team that only joined together less than a year. The expectations on the team were really high because of their line up so it is really a big loss for them not to win the championship.
There are still a lot of things to look out for the next season and you will probably don’t want to miss the chance to see Miami Heat on the floor once again.

The most kept secret at Conseco Fieldhouse for the past few days is that the Pacers may renew the contract of Frank Vogel and make him the head coach of the team.
Vogel was the temporary coach last 2010, taking over Jim O’Brien in January and coaching the team into the playoffs in spite of an inexact list of new players. On the other hand, the Pacers and Mike Brown were flirting for some time, but the latter signed with Los Angeles Lakers for $18 million.
Given the reputation of Pacers’ owner, Herb Simon, for being inexpensive, it was always not likely that he will consent Larry Bird to sign someone like Mike. Keeping Vogel makes sense since he is inexpensive, nest is that the anticipated NBA shut out will possibly pull into the regular season, and lastly is that setting up a new defensive and offensive attitude without a training camp is merely not convenient.
Therefore, it looks like everybody and their grandmother anticipates the Pacers to renew the contract of Vogel. Still, must Vogel sign the contract again; it seems that will come with some terms and conditions. Sam Amico of Fox Sports Net and Mike Wells, the beat writer of Indianapolis Star said that Bird wants Vogel to dump all his subordinates from the previous year and hire new ones.
In addition, without being renewing the contract, Vogel has taken this optional suggestion and already parted ways with Jay DeFruscio, his assistant. Furthermore, Mike Wells said that Terry Porter, the previous head coach; John-Blair Bickerstaff, assistant of Minnesota; and Frank Hambien, the previous assistant of Lakers, are all in the combination to complete the coaching bench of Vogel.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will meet the Dallas Mavericks after defeating Denver Nuggets with 4-1 win in the first round of this year’s playoffs.
Two years eliminated from a 23-win season, Thunder and Kevin Durant have earned themselves a place in the Western Conference Finals. Thunder will face Mavericks, who have won 50-plus games each of the last 11 seasons, in the Western Conference Finals of NBA 2011.
In addition, Dallas conquered the Portland Trail Blazers with 4-2 win on the first round and brushed Los Angeles in four straight games to end the three-peat goals of the Lakers. The Mavericks won the regular matchup for this season between the two teams with 2-1 win. On May 17, Tuesday, the Western Conference Finals will begin with the Dallas Mavericks hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This series will feature athletic and young team of Thunder against the more mature and older players of Mavericks. If the Thunder hopes to conquer the Mavericks, they will to seek for way to attack the 2-3 matchup zones of Dallas. One of the best ways is to move the ball from both side and attack the gaps that enclose when the zone changes.
Furthermore, during their series against the Grizzlies, the offense of Oklahoma City was lacked to ball movement and rotted way too frequent. If the team and Russell Westbrook fail to move the ball against the zone of Mavericks, they will have a difficult time to conquer the Dallas in a series of seven games.
In order for Thunder to have a chance to win this series, they will have to share the ball and attack the zone of their opponent. Defensively, they will have to arise with a strategy to hold back Dirk Nowitzki and defend the line for three points shot.

The Chicago Bulls will have a final date with the Miami Heat on the Eastern Conference as the Bulls won against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night.
The Bulls wanted to face the star-studded Heat all along. Joakim Noah, one of many players of Bulls, was disappointed that Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James decided to sign last summer with the Heat.
Noah felt insulted, like he was not somehow good enough for James, the guy who never got return in touch with Noah when the young center reached out to him with regard to probably playing for the Bulls. Like several fans, he hated the way that the Heat was assembled. All the situation and spectacle that went along with the free agent signings went against what he wanted the Bulls to put up with, a determined list made around a budding superstar in Derrick Rose.
The minute that The Decision was made, Noah recognized that his team will have to endure the Miami in order to attain its goal of winning a challenge. In addition, Noah also knew that in order to do that, his team will have to work much harder than any team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Given the way this season has stretched out, it was as Noah saw into the upcoming.
Furthermore, the Bulls have gotten to this point by being the kind of team he imagined. Rose, the MVP of the league, has taken his game to novel heights, the latest Bulls have pounded well with the old ones, and the bedrock of the team has incessantly been its hard-charging defense, under the supervision of Tom Thibodeau. The Bulls also got to where Noah believed they can. He also said after they beat the Hawks that the playoffs is an entire different game and nobody is undermining their ability and what they bring into the table.
