The first two episodes of the post-apocalyptic horror television series obtained astounding ratings. Now AMC’s “Walking Dead” just earned its this third campaign. AMC noticed that the series reached ratings record in the 18-49 demo through the first two episodes of the second season.
Knowing the fate of sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes played by Andrew Lincoln triggered the curiosity of viewers making them subscribe in the series. This is in spite of the chaos that came with Glen Mazzara who will play as show runner instead of Frank Databont.
10 years ago, the October 16 season premier broke a basic cable record set with regard to sole drama telecast. The dead zone achieved 4.8 household rating that is equivalent to about 7.3 million viewers. The average of the last season is 36 percent uptick represented the 4.8 million viewers in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic.

The story of The Walking Dead is about the aftermath of a zombie. People wanted to stay away from the “walkers” so they travel across America to look for a safer place. The group was led by Rick Grimes. The plot of the series is more focused in the struggle of survivors as well as the human element of a post-apocalyptic world. That is after AMC announced that they will release six episodes for the first series.
