American pop musician and actor Justin Timberlake stated that he is just an ordinary person in spite of reaching stardom. Cinemas will open for his newest movie entitled “In Time” anytime this week. Timberlake may ride in a new wave of stardom after the release of the movie directed and written by Andrew Niccol and produced by Marc Abraham, Amy Israel, Kristel Laiblim along with Eric Newman. Timberlake will play the character of Will Salas in the movie.
“In Time” is a movie about switching off the aging gene. When individuals reached 25 years old, they will stop in aging but stamped in their arm will determine how long they will stay alive. Instead of money, time became the currency. This is to prevent over population. Time is used in buying luxuries along with necessities so the rich people can live forever. When a poor young man inherited a fortune of time from an upper class individual over a hundred years old before his death, he was charged with murder. Because of that incident, he needed to run away from “Time Keepers” along with “Minutemen” headed by Fortis who is a senior citizen.
Timberlake stated that the movie was challenging making him inquire about much stuff in connection to himself. He also stated to press personnel that he does not discovered the answers of her queries but he like they way the movie revealed it for him. “The Social Network” actor claimed that he admired his character Will Salas for he wanted to fight the way his character does to extend his life. He also said that his role as Salas is the first role that he wanted to be alike.
Before “Sexyback” singer received an award from Grammy and became a heartthrob in Hollywood, he was already performing on stage as a lead singer of the boy band NSync since 1990s. Until now, he described himself as an ordinary boy who was born in Memphis, Tennessee. The actor stated that he was just an ordinary person who is in extraordinary circumstance. However, the word extraordinary is not enough to describe the situation of the actor for he had entered pop music, do well in the fashion circle and now conquering the world of movies.
Timberlake entered in Hollywood in a careful manner. He did not appear in big projects at once but portrayed minor characters in high profile yet low-budget films instead. Some of those movies are “Alpha Dog” where he played the role of Frankie “Nuts” Ballenbacher, “Shrek the Third” where he played the character of Arthur “Artie” Pedragon and “The Social Network” where he played the role of Sean Parker. Recently, he appeared in the comic film entitled “Bad Teacher” as Scott Delacorte along with the movie American romantic movie “Friends with Benefits” as Dylan.
His latest movie is “In Time”. The movie received different reviews even before it opens in cinemas. Peter DeBruge of Variety stated that potential of Timberlake to become an action-hero is maximized in the film. Todd MacCarthy, a reporter in Hollywood stated that proficiency of the actor carries the movie but the sparkle of real disobedience could have pushed his performance into a different level.
