It is already been five years since the last time that moviegoers saw Spiderman swing in the skies of New York City. Following the nomination that the comedy movie “Bridesmaids” received during the golden globe awards, rumors about the potential creation of the movie’s sequel emerges. The co-author of the film Kristine Wiig who played the character of Annie Walker creating its sequel is not yet in her plans.

Wiig stated that she along with the whole cast and production team had a wonderful time in filming the project but they are planning to try something different and not a sequel of the movie. Actor and film director Tommy Lee Jones will play the character of General Douglas MacArthur in a thriller/epic project directed by Peter Webber. Production will start later this month in Japan and New Zealand that will also star Matthew Fox. Jones will be bringing strength, intelligence and gravitas in the project by performing as the legendary American hero as stated by the producer Gary Foster.

The project was set in the days after Japan surrendered in the World War II when The American Hero presided over the Nation as the Supreme Head of the Allied Forces. The story revolves as General Bonner Fellers deliberates whether to try deposing Emperor Hirohito or just to face the death penalty. In addition, a romance story can also be seen in the movie between Fellers and an exchange student from Japan. Other individuals who will co-produce the project include Yoko Narahashi, Eugene Nomura, and Russ Krasnoff.

After saying that the 9/11 tragedy might ended in a different way whenever he was one of the passengers of the plane that crashed in the twin towers, actor Mark Wahlberg ended up apologizing. He stated that if he and his children are on board in one of the planes, the plane must have landed safely because he must have fought against the terrorist and control the situation inside the plane. According to him, he made the decision to change after spending several weeks in prison because of pleading guilty of assault. After realizing all his mistakes and with the guidance of his parish priest, he managed to change the direction of his life. In the end, he admitted all his mistakes and he is taking full responsibility as well.
